PET FOOD DRIVE FOR MIRANDAS’!
SATURDAYS 10/15/11 & 10/22/11 FROM 1PM-2PM
AT ARCATA HIGH SCHOOL

The ArMack Orchestra and Rin Tin Tin present
“The Clash of the Wolves

The ArMack Orchestra, made up of students from Arcata & McKinleyville High Schools, and Rin Tin Tin bring you beautiful music, frequently hilarious sound effects, and canine majesty in the silent film classic, “The Clash of the Wolves.” The ArMack plays to the silent film for two weekends: October 13, 14 and 15 at Arcata High School and October 20, 21 and 22 at McKinleyville High School. Screen time is 7 pm with Saturday matinees at 2 pm on October 15 and 22. Admission is $5 and tickets can be obtained from ArMack students or parents, or by calling 822-5453. Tickets will be sold at the door but performances frequently sell out, so please buy tickets in advance! All proceeds from the silent film will support the ArMack Orchestra and the students’ planned performance at Carnegie Hall, New York, in 2013.

To support our canine friends and in Rin Tin Tin’s memory, Miranda’s Rescue and the ArMack will hold a pet food drive and a “Rinty” Look-A-Like Contest before the two Saturday matinees. The winning dog will not only be the “star” of the day but will also win for its owner a free ticket to the silent film, AND the book: “Rin Tin Tin: The Movie Star”.

Don’t forget: Rin Tin Tin and ArMack Orchestra silent film October 13–15 and 20--22. Call 822-5453 for tickets! Please bring a pet food donation to the matinees for Miranda’s Rescue to support their continued efforts to help less fortunate animals.

WIN THIS DODGE DAKOTA SPORT 4X4 TRUCK!

Congratulations to Jeanne Watson of Fortuna! She was the lucky winner of our Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 (pictured above)! Jeanne tells us that she bought 4 tickets in Eureka and had hoped to win it for her grandson. What a wonderful Grandma! On behalf of our Board of Directors, Staff & Volunteers, we would like to say thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser by buying tickets! Our community raised $9,000.00 for the rescue!

All proceeds goes towards feed and care for the animals!
